Evaluation Day

Baseball attire is recommended for all players attending evaluations (baseball pants, cup, cleats)Players need to bring their baseball glove, USA stamp approved bat, and batting helmet. We have some that can be borrowed but I cannot guarantee the sizes will be correct.

Play-Up Requests – Players wanting to “play up” in the age group above their current age group must be drafted in the first 5 rounds of the draft. Players that are wanting to play-up must attend the evaluation for the division they are assigned to, as well as the division they are requesting to play in. If you would like your player to play-up, please email me back and let me know. I will schedule those players at the back end of one division and the front end of the other to minimize the amount of waiting for you.

Play-Down Requests – Players wanting to “play down” a division only need to attend the evaluation for the division you are requesting. If you would like your player to play-down, please email me and let me know. This is a rare request and it needs to be discussed before it is approved.

Each player will get 3 pitches to hit, 3 groundballs/throws to first base, 3 pop-flies, and an opportunity to run the bases. Minors-Player Pitch Divisions and above will also get to pitch 3 pitches. If we stay on schedule, you should only need to be at the field for about 15 minutes.
